Date of birth - 17 April 1992 Sunderland, County Durham
Durham First Class Debut - May 2014 v Somerset (away)

Last season proved to be another of positive progression for all-rounder Ryan Pringle.

Having made his first-class bow in 2014, he played a more central role in 2015 by playing in nine first-class fixtures, predominantly as an off-spinner but he proved himself as a handy lower-order batsman too.

A first-class ton still beckons after being cruelly dismissed for 99 against Hampshire, though there was some silver lining as he took a maiden five-wicket haul in the same game.

Not just a four-day player by any means, Pringle made headlines for his part in a sensational catch in a T20 game under the lights against the Lancashire Lightning.

The 2016 season is a chance for Pringle not only to nail down his spot as Jon Lewis' main spin bowling option but prove his worth as a batsman too.

Connected with Durham since the age of 10, Pringle was actually born the day after the county's maiden first class fixture finished in 1992.
